Charlie Trisiripisal       Partner, Senior Analyst                                                    ct@tiburonholdings.net
Mr. Trisiripisal is part of Tiburon’s professional investment staff. He is responsible for idea generation, detailed analysis and other broad portfolio and other operational responsibilities. He was previously a Vice President with Fortress Investment Group (2004-2009), working for Peter Briger, where he specialized in distressed debt, special situations (credit), and opportunistic structured lending.  Mr. Trisiripisal assisted in managing a $350mm secondary credit portfolio at Fortress and executed over $3.5bn of investments.  Additionally, he negotiated and structured over $2.9bn of unique special opportunity investments (1st lien/2nd lien/mezzanine/equity) for mid-cap companies and loan workouts. 

Previously, Mr. Trisiripisal was a Credit Analyst for Salomon Smith Barney’s $600mm principal desk, focusing on leverage lending to distressed companies and investing in high yield opportunities across various sectors. He started his career as an equity analyst with Goldman, Sachs & Co (2000).  Mr. Trisiripisal has a BA with Distinction from Cornell University.

Mr. Staut is part of Tiburon’s professional investment staff. He is responsible for idea generation, detailed analysis and other broad portfolio and other operational responsibilities. He was previously a senior analyst with Schultze Asset Management (2007-2009). At Schultze, Mr. Staut analyzed bankruptcies, restructurings, spinoffs, failed mergers, litigation plays and recapitalizations.

Previously, Mr. Staut was a research analyst at The Longchamp Group, (2004-2005) a $1billion family office and fund of
funds. Prior to Longchamp, he was an associate at AM Investment Partners, LLC, a convertible bond arbitrage fund (2002-2004) and an analyst at Lehman Brothers (2002). Mr. Staut has BS from Dickinson College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, Dean’s List. Mr. Staut received his MBA from Columbia Business School and is Chartered Financial Analyst.
